Who are Nutritionist and Dieticians?
A Clinical Nutritionist/Dietitian studies Human nutrition and dietetics for 4 or more years , completes an internship of 900 Hours (9-10 months) at a govt or private hospital and clears the RD exam . In Pakistan , Human Nutrition and Dietetics is a full fledged 4 years bachelor's degree program . A Nutritionist must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition And Dietetics . To become a Clinical Nutritionist completing an internship of 900 hours at a govt/private hospital and clearing the RD test is compulsory . In Pakistan nutritionists study the following subjects
