What is a Diet Plan?

Often I have seen people discussing the word " Diet Plan " . People without having any proper knowledge , often google the term to find diet plans in order to lose or gain weight . So is it possible to get ready made diet plan from the internet ? I will answer this question , in this blog.
To get an idea about diet plan , let us know what is diet ?
Diet includes the food and drinks that are consumed by a person . In simple words the sum of all the foods that are taken up by a person . This is called Diet . Diet Plan  is a chart in which tells you are told to follow an arranged or organized diet in order to increase or decrease the number of calories intake according to your age , height , weight or your BMI .

WILL DIET PLANS AID ME IN LOSING WEIGHT ?
A diet plan contains an organized pattern to control your calories intake . You are recommended foods and drinks that can be helpful in losing or gaining weight . A diet plan if followed properly can help you in your target of increasing or decreasing weight . But definitely you need to follow it according to the advice of your dietitian or nutritionist . I can guarantee that you will definitely feel a lot more difference after following a proper diet plan

CAN I USE THE DIET PLAN THAT I GOT FROM GOOGLE ?
The answer is a straight forward "NO" .
So if you googled to find the plan for 600 ,1200 ,1800 calories etc , why wont they work for you . Even if you follow them ? The answer lies in the fact that every person has a different age ,weight , height. Through these we can calculate the BMI i.e Body Mass Index  of a person . And this is different for every person . So if you just googled to find the right diet plan or chart , then most probably it won't work for you . Not exaggerating but it takes  2-3 days to make a diet plan according to your BMI . As everyone has a different lifestyle and BMI , so everyone needs a different diet plan . So if you follow a ready made or googled diet plan , it ain't gonna work for you . You might damage your health .

OTHER THAN LOSING WEIGHT
Other than losing or gaining weight , there are several kinds of diet plans for diabetic patients, cardiovascular disease patients , hyper tension patients  and diet plans for other patients . There are also diet plans for Sportsmen , athletes , body builders .

WHERE TO GET YOUR DIET PLAN FROM?
I would recommend to visit a qualified Nutritionist or Dietician in order to get your diet plan , always ask his/her qualifications , there are several quacks who after doing 3-6 months diploma call themselves nutritionist . Lemme tell you that at least a four year bachelor degree  is required to become a nutritionist.  You may find ready made diet plans on google or some hospitals . But they ain't gonna work for you as I have mentioned .  So always ask a qualified Nutritionist for a diet plan .
